Only an hour and a half from the capital and with views over the beautiful Randsfjorden, the area is highly recommended in every way.

Easily accessible and great trails!

When the crew behind Traktor Bike Park invited us for affordable shuttle-based biking in their homemade bike park, we were easily convinced that we had to check it out. Only an hour and a half from the capital and with a view over beautiful Randsfjorden, the area is highly recommended. In about three hours, we rode all the trails, and some we rode twice. 

"Tractor-based biking"? Shuttle service...

The concept is simple: You are driven to the top with your bike on a trailer, ride down, and are picked up at the bottom. The result is many descents in a short amount of time. We were impressed by how efficient it was, and we never had to wait many minutes at the bottom.

Most of the trails are not for beginners and can feel quite "rough" for those who haven't biked much. You should be comfortable with a lot of rocks, roots, and occasionally steep sections to enjoy the area to the fullest.
