Woohoo!

I 2020, I’ve probably cycled more than in any other year. And I probably have more half-dead cycling groups on Facebook Messenger than ever before.

Perhaps that’s not so strange since it’s November, but throughout the year, I’ve made some observations.

All the groups have almost identical lifespans. It starts off at high speed.

In the end, all that’s left is a pile of ashes.

In a way, there’s something beautiful in it all, because from the ashes always rises new enthusiasm and new groups.

A social phoenix that is always quite similar to the last, but not exactly the same.
